Product Information
Product Description
LED replacement bulbs can fit vehicle tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals or side marker lights. This 3156 single-contact bulb has 28 LEDs (0.5-watt SMD) that create a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with reduced hot spots. Tower-style design with a 16-mm wedge base for easy plug-and-play installation. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your car, truck, SUV, or van—25 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Available in cool white, amber and red. Not sold in pairs. Price per bulb.

All specifications are subject to change without notice. 1. CAN Bus LED bulbs are simple plug-and- play LED bulbs which are made specifically for CAN Bus-equipped vehicles. These bulbs work with your vehicle's advanced computer system, so when your vehicle's computer reads them, they respond back correctly. To see if your vehicle operates with a CAN Bus system, simply remove the bulb you're looking to replace, start your vehicle, and if you have a "Bulb Out" message on your dash you have a CAN Bus system. |
Part NO | CCT / Wavelength CCT / Wavelength ![]() | Polarity Sensitive | Brightness Brightness For best results, the LED color should be the same as the lens color. If the bulb is behind a clear lens, use the appropriate color for turn and brake light functions. When installed in a housing that has a matching colored lens, red and amber bulbs will appear brighter than white LED bulbs - even though they have lower lumen outputs. As an example: a red lens will filter out all but the red portion of light from a bulb, so if the light being emitted from the bulb is all red, none or very little light will be blocked by the lens. The light from a white LED bulb contains very little light in the red portion of the visible spectrum, so most of the light that contributes to its higher lumen value would be filtered out by a red lens. This makes the white bulb appear dimmer than the red bulb. ![]() | Beam Angle Beam Angle Beam angle is used to express the width of the light emitting from the source. The narrower the beam angle the more focused the light energy is. Comparing two 40 watt lights one with a beam angle of 30(a) and another with a beam angle of 90(b), They both produce the same amount of light output but (a) will appear brighter in the beam angle compared to (b) at the sacrifice of light spread. ![]() | Current Draw @ Operating Voltage Current Draw @ Operating Voltage Current Draw is used to size fuses and wire for a circuit. Current draw is the amount of energy consumed by an LED or LEDs in an electrical circuit at a specific voltage, measured in amps (A) or milliamps (mA). | Price Ea. | Weight | Operating Temperature | |

Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. | ![]() |

Great for my landscape lights
Bought 3 of these for my landscape lights to replace old 3156 glass bulbs. One burned out after about 8 days for no obvious reason; they replaced under warranty. They work great, ordering 2 more. Plenty bright, use less power, should last much longer than old bulbs...

Pretty good but expected more.
I installed these as reverse lights and they appeared to be much brighter when standing behind the vehicle but when in the cab of the truck looking back they really don't see to illuminate that much more. I think this is flaw in my actual tail light fixture rather than the bulb. This is on a 2009 GMC Sierra.

They worked!!
Used these to replace Wagner 3757KA with the offset nubs. They fit the socket with no modifications but can be plugged in both ways and only one will illuminate. Plus they are as bright as the incandescent bulbs they replaced. The amber color is good, but a new flasher may be required. Now to take all the part store leds back. Pay the money and use these.

Exceeded expectation!
I was looking for a replacement LED reverse light bulb for my 2002 Ford Escape. Even though these are not on the vehicle specific bulb page, they will fit. I am very pleased with the results! These bulbs have great brightness and also a wide, floodlight like effect, lighting not just behind but to the sides of the backing area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Well?
This is a really bright bulb I purchased for use as a backup lamp in my F-250. The bulb fits the socket perfectly however it did not fit the housing. That is my fault. Be sure to measure first as the extra length of this bulb. I gave it 5 stars because of the quality and brightness. I can not fault the bulb or Superbright for my failure to heed the warning about it being oversize.
