Overview
This LED corn bulb has field-selectable CCT and wattage, producing up to 28,350 lumens of light. Use the switches on the bulb to select from 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K color temperature options and 270, 200, and 135 wattage options to suit the application best. Use the EX39 mogul screw base bulb in open or enclosed fixtures for retrofitting old metal-halide fixtures up to 400 watts. The polycarbonate lens provides durability. This LED corn bulb is a type B ballast bypass, saving energy and eliminating future costs associated with ballast maintenance. Remove the existing ballast before installation for retrofit applications. Use the included support bracket for horizontal installation applications such as wall packs or traditional cobra head area lights.

Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) can be defined as the color of white light a light source is emitting. CCT is measured in Kelvin (K). The different color temperatures along the Kelvin scale correlate with different shades of white light, all of which impact how an individual perceives the space. LED lights are typically grouped into 3 different color temperatures: warm white, natural white, and cool white. Warm white gives off a yellow shade of light, natural light closely resembles the color of light given off from the sun, and cool light has a slightly blue tint to it. |
