What Are Vehicle Emergency LED Light Bars?

Emergency light bars are used to alert pedestrians to emergencies or hazards. Installing the correct light bars can reduce accident risk and increase the safety of pedestrians, first responders, construction workers, and more. Most of our lights feature an SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) Class 1 certification, meaning they emit sufficient lighting to ensure emergency vehicles are seen on public roads.

What Vehicles Can I Install LED Vehicle Emergency Light Bars On?

LED emergency vehicle light bars can be used for various vehicle applications, including the following.

  • Construction Vehicles

  • Utility Vehicles

  • Police Cars

  • Fire Response Vehicles

  • Ambulances

  • Snow Plows

  • Public Safety Vehicles

Individuals may be permitted to install these light bars on their personal cars, trucks, or SUVs if they use the vehicle for work. However, this varies based on your local regulations.

What Color Are Emergency Vehicle Light Bars?

Our emergency strobe light bars come in amber or amber/white color combinations. Amber lights are commonly used for construction vehicles, utility vehicles, snow plows, and tow trucks.

Mini vs Full Size

We carry a diverse product range, with mini 11” or 16” options, or full-size options including 24”, 36”, 48”, and 60”. You may prefer a mini size if you want a more compact design, but a full-size light bar is ideal for more intense, broad light coverage.

Can I Change Between Flash Patterns?

We offer vehicle emergency light bars compatible with controllers that allow you to change flash patterns. Exact control options depend on the fixture used; however, options include mode rocker switches or multi-function control boxes. A mode rocker switch features an on and off switch, and another switch to cycle through flash patterns. The multi-function control box features multiple buttons allowing you to adjust flash patterns, power lights on or off, set modes, control different light functions individually, and more. The number of flash patterns available will depend on the fixture, but we offer products with up to 30.

How Do I Mount LED Strobe Light Bars for Installation?

LED strobe light bars are often installed on the vehicle’s roof. Mount with a permanent, magnetic, surface, or gutter clamp mount:

  • Magnetic mounts are a great choice if you’re planning to use the lights for short-term or slow-moving applications.

  • Our permanent mounts are great for long-term installations, feature increased security, and are safer to install for long-term or faster-moving applications.

  • Gutter clamp mounting brackets provide a simpler installation with no drilling required.

Are These Lights Durable and Vibration-Resistant?

Our LED strobe light bars are constructed with an aluminum housing and a polycarbonate lens to ensure they can withstand harsh road conditions and are vibration-resistant. Additionally, these lights are weather-resistant with a submersible IP67 rating, making them suitable for various weather conditions and terrains.
