Overview
Elite Series Type A Fog Lamps are assembled in the USA using OEM-grade materials, including a precision aluminum casting, UV-coated outer lens, copper-core circuit board, and multi-die automotive emitters.
The Elite Series Fog Lamps are the first OE-style fog lights that were designed for true performance. Elite Series LED lamps have been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.
The Elite Series Fog Lamp is built around a highly-engineered single-piece PMMA lens. This optic was carefully designed using advanced optical simulation software to produce a light pattern that is wider than any other aftermarket fog lamp on the market, with an 80-degree spread of highly intense light. Even with this extremely wide band of light, the pattern is extremely smooth throughout, with an extremely sharp cutoff to avoid glare to other drivers, including a BMW-style “color flicker” at the very edge of the pattern.
With integrated moisture-proof vents, the lamps can “breathe” with changes in temperature, maintaining a strong seal over time. And with built-in circuit protection for voltage spikes and reverse polarity, these lights will keep working for years. They are backed by an industry-leading 8-year limited warranty.

Beam Pattern
Beam Pattern
Spot LightsSpot lights give off a narrow and concentrated beam of light that allows for greater visibility at further distances. With light output stretching beyond that of standard headlights. Spot lights are best used to navigate dark back roads for everything from recreational vehicles to work trucks and search and rescue vehicles. Flood LightsFlood lights are best at illuminating a wider area at a shorter distance than typical headlights. These are great for use on vehicles performing tasks at night such as roadwork or harvesting, as well as use on curvy roads and side roads. Combo BeamsCombo vehicle lights are a combination of a spot light and a flood light that are always on simultaneously. This allows for the light to cover both short and long distances at the same time for a variety of tasks. Selectable MultibeamsSelectable multibeams contain both a spot light and a flood light. With this, you gain the ability to have either the spot light or the flood light, or both on at the same time. Selectable multi-beams are extremely versatile in that you get three beam patterns in a single light. However it does require additional wiring to operate both beams independently through either multiple rocker switches, or a momentary switch. Combo + Side ShootersSide shooters illuminate a full 180 degrees or more through the use of a combo beam vehicle light. Side shooters contain an extra row of vertically or horizontally stacked and angled LED lights. This row is what gives the side shooter the ability to expand beyond a normal flood light's field of view. Side shooters are best used while stationary or at very low speeds where the field of view is critical. |

Current Draw
Current Draw
The current draw of your lights is calculated using the amount of power your light needs (wattage) and system voltage using the following formula: Watts/Volts = amps or W/V = amps. An ampere or amp (A) is the standard unit for electrical current. A milliamp (mA) equals one-thousandth of an amp, or 1000 mA is equivalent to 1 A.
Choosing LED bulbs with the correct amperage ensures proper operation and prevents damage to your electrical system or the bulbs. See your vehicle owner's manual for amperage, wattage, and voltage information, or match the information on your existing bulbs. |
