Overview
Diode Dynamics designed the Elite Series LED Headlights for 2018+ Jeep JL Wranglers and 2020+ Jeep Gladiators for maximum performance. They are the only 9-inch headlights 100% engineered and assembled in the USA with the latest technology and features, setting the bar for aftermarket headlights!
First and foremost, the Elite Series LED Headlights provide full LED illumination for both low beam and high beams, with the modern, rectangular bi-LED projector. This unit provides higher intensity than both the OEM halogen and LED options, shining light far down the road ahead. The beam pattern has a sharp cutoff, with excellent center intensity and strong width, for a fantastic nighttime driving experience. The same projector is installed on both the Elite and Elite Max models.
These headlights feature a selectable DRL to customize the look of your Jeep. With up to four distinct DRL modes, you can choose white and amber colors, and turn on or off the extra DRL bars (if equipped). The best part? You don’t even have to pop the hood. Our patent-pending technology allows you to program your headlights from inside the vehicle using existing controls. No extra switches, wires, or controllers required!
The Elite Max model includes a patent-pending Trail Light off-road lighting feature. With the same emitters found in our popular Stage Series off-road products, the top and bottom reflectors shine extra light in a wide beam to illuminate the trail ahead. The high-power LEDs stay cool thanks to custom-designed heatsinks. An extra switch is included to activate these Trail Lights, or they can be connected to a factory auxiliary switch if equipped.
NOTE: The DRL will automatically display white when the low/high beams turn on
Fitment:
- Note: The lamps are not compatible with Canadian-spec models. Sport models will use the included add-a-fuse to provide DRL power.

Beam Pattern
Spot LightsSpot lights give off a narrow and concentrated beam of light that allows for greater visibility at further distances. With light output stretching beyond that of standard headlights. Spot lights are best used to navigate dark back roads for everything from recreational vehicles to work trucks and search and rescue vehicles. Flood LightsFlood lights are best at illuminating a wider area at a shorter distance than typical headlights. These are great for use on vehicles performing tasks at night such as roadwork or harvesting, as well as use on curvy roads and side roads. Combo BeamsCombo vehicle lights are a combination of a spot light and a flood light that are always on simultaneously. This allows for the light to cover both short and long distances at the same time for a variety of tasks. Selectable MultibeamsSelectable multibeams contain both a spot light and a flood light. With this, you gain the ability to have either the spot light or the flood light, or both on at the same time. Selectable multi-beams are extremely versatile in that you get three beam patterns in a single light. However it does require additional wiring to operate both beams independently through either multiple rocker switches, or a momentary switch. Combo + Side ShootersSide shooters illuminate a full 180 degrees or more through the use of a combo beam vehicle light. Side shooters contain an extra row of vertically or horizontally stacked and angled LED lights. This row is what gives the side shooter the ability to expand beyond a normal flood light's field of view. Side shooters are best used while stationary or at very low speeds where the field of view is critical. |

Current Draw
Current Draw
The current draw of your lights is calculated using the amount of power your light needs (wattage) and system voltage using the following formula: Watts/Volts = amps or W/V = amps. An ampere or amp (A) is the standard unit for electrical current. A milliamp (mA) equals one-thousandth of an amp, or 1000 mA is equivalent to 1 A.
Choosing LED bulbs with the correct amperage ensures proper operation and prevents damage to your electrical system or the bulbs. See your vehicle owner's manual for amperage, wattage, and voltage information, or match the information on your existing bulbs. |
