

What is an LED light bar and how does it work?
An LED light bar is an auxiliary light for off-road vehicles.They are mounted onto a vehicle, wired to the vehicle’s battery using a wiring harness and controlled with a switch inside the vehicle.
If you are adding an LED work light to an existing wiring harness or have had a connection break, we also offer DT and DTP connectors to easily install and connect your light bar. DT connectors are compatible with AT series connectors Deutsch DT and DTP connectors are also compatible with AT series connectors.
However if you have a large light bar of about 32 inches or more, you will want to utilize a DTP connector. For smaller light bars and light pods, you will use a DT connector. What Beam Patterns are Available for LED Light Bars?
Our LED light bars are available with different beam patterns, including spot, medium, flood , combo beam, and selectable multi-beam angles. The pattern you choose to use will depend on the vehicle you will be installing them on and its purpose.
- Spot beam (approx 10-20 degree) - for maximum visibility at distance, Ideal for high speed driving.
- Flood beam (approx 40-60 degree) - Illuminates a large area for increased visibility of surroundings
- Combo beam - a versatile beam that gives you the best of both worlds, suitable for a large variety of applications.
- Selectable Multi-Beam - easily select the type of beam pattern that works best for your activities of choice.
What are the different sizes of LED light bars available?

Are LED Light Bars Legal on Streets? Can I Drive With a LED Light Bar On?
Every state and even counties within a state can have different laws on whether or not you can drive with an LED light bar on. Some places put restrictions on the number of lumens of the light or which angle the light is mounted. Check local policies and regulations for proper, legal light bar operation.
Can I dim or adjust the brightness of an LED light bar?
No, off-road LED light bars are not dimmable. However, there are options with differing lumen amounts to get the desired brightness. We offer light bars with 500 lumens up to 23,040 lumens.
Where can I mount LED Light Bars?
Depending on the vehicle and size of the off road light bar, there are a variety of placement options. Placement options can include bumper, roof, hood, grille, and roll cage mounts. Check local policies and regulations for proper, legal mounting locations, as they may vary from state to state.

What different colors of LED light bars are available? What are the Uses?
The majority of our light bars are available with cool white light for clear visibility but we also offer some specialty light bars that are infrared for night vision.
Which is Better: Straight or Curved Light Bars?
When it comes to curved or straight LED off road light bars, the decision between the two is purely subjective and based on preference. Both types of light bars work the same way, however, depending on the vehicle, curved or straight light bars may fit more flush when mounted.
