Description
Replace existing bolts with the MAL series Miniature LED License Plate Bolt to add additional light to license plates. Produces a wide 120° beam in one of 7 available colors to provide maximum visibility to make numbers easy to read at night or in inclement weather. Waterproof steel housing in black or silver. Simply screws into existing bolt holes.

Comparing Lumens Across Colors: Why Do Colored Bulbs Have Such Low Lumen Values
| Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. |
