Overview
Energy-efficient LED landscape lights can be used as outdoor ceiling lights, gazebo lights, shower lights, or for outdoor kitchen lighting and pavilion lighting. This 8-watt outdoor LED downlight has 3 LEDs that emit up to 400 lumens of cool white or warm white illumination. An IP68-rated waterproof aluminum housing protects internal components and has a stainless steel front bezel. Flush mount the recessed light in a 2-15/16" to 3-5/8" round hole with mounted retaining clips. The LED downlight has 12V AC and 12-16V DC operation and a G-LUX plug-and-play connector for easy installation in a G-LUX landscape wiring system. Can also be used in an existing low-voltage landscape wiring system with a G-LUX-PT pigtail power cable.

Beam angle is used to express the width of the light emitting from the source. The narrower the beam angle the more focused the light energy is. Comparing two 40 watt lights one with a beam angle of 30(a) and another with a beam angle of 90(b), They both produce the same amount of light output but (a) will appear brighter in the beam angle compared to (b) at the sacrifice of light spread.
