The KLUS® STOS-MDF series LED profile housing is a paintable MDF surface mount ideal for bookshelf, cabinet, under-cabinet and furniture lighting, stair nosings, or anywhere the fixture may be visible. This angled surface-mount LED channel provides a professional mounting solution for LED strip lights up to 11mm wide. The 1m (3.3 ft) profile housing is a sturdy lacquered medium-density fiberboard that is easy to cut and paint to match. The lacquered extrusion made from MDF board, designed for flexible or rigid LED strips that are 8-10mm wide. One of the
accessories offered for the extrusion are covers that shade and protect LEDs inside the profile. There are few types of covers:
cover K (frosted or transparent) or HS (frosted or transparent). Covers are made of polycarbonate. Standard plastic end caps
are used for the extrusion as supplementary accessories. End caps protect the extrusion from dust and other undesirable elements,
which can make LED strips dirty and consequently deteriorate the lighting parameters. The extrusion can be mounted to surfaces
with the use of double-sided adhesive tape or mounting glue.
Integrated, straight line of light can be achieved by assembling: the extrusion, frosted HS cover and densely spaced LEDs.
MDF extrusion cannot be exposed to extreme heat, humidity or water.
Applications
The extrusion with LED light source is designated for the interior use, especially as an integrated part of furniture pieces, surface mount, to light or illuminate cabinets, glass-cases, shelving etc.
