Overview
This PIR motion sensor adds automatic occupancy control to compatible LED fixtures through a 3.5mm AUX connection. Using passive infrared detection, the sensor detects daylight and movement up to 30ft, reducing energy use in warehouses, offices, and other work areas. The sensor has corridor and daylight functions for optimized use based on location. The corridor function operates when motion is detected during low levels of natural light, then switches off once motion is no longer detected or if light levels rise. The sensors Daylight function activates the fixture at the maximum brightness setting when motion is detected in low natural light conditions and dims the light to 10% when motion is no longer present. Mount to the fixture with an unobstructed sight line. The IR remote has a communication range of 50ft (15m) and can control multiple sensors. Remote operates using 2 x AAA batteries (not included).
