Not water proof
There not water tight. There are holes on the sides where water can get in easily. Gasket is pointless since these hole are there
Response from Super Bright LEDs:
Not waterproof
I installed one of these on my cargo trailer last fall. The light wasn’t sealed, causing water to get inside and short the light out. I’m forced to buy another light due to existing mounting holes in the trailer. I will try to use sealant to keep this one from getting moisture inside and shorting out. Other than the water issues the light is very bright and works well as a porch light.
