Specifications
Correlated Color Temperature is the hue, or tint of white to expect from a light source and is measured in kelvin. Lower numbers give off a warmer white that is closer to candle light, and is good for relaxed and cozy spaces. Higher numbers give off a cooler white light that will appear more blueish. While values to the middle of the spectrum give off a more neutral or natural white light that is similar to daylight. Natural and cool white are considered ideal for task lighting.

Perfect LEDs for under cabinet lighting...
I’ve installed these LED strips into two different kitchens now using most of each roll for both. The brightness level at 100% is perfect for kitchens even with the bright white when you need some extra lighting for food prep. For my second install, I put lighting below and above the cabinets with trim to give an accent to some displayed dishes and such. May honest assessment is anything brighter would wash out backsplashes and cabinet displays too much.
Bright, Versatile Light Source
Bright, gives plenty of light. Aimed at the ceiling with a reflector for diffuse general lighting in a room used through the day and evening. Tunable is a plus. Shift color temperature toward daylight when I need to be alert, lower (incandescent) color temperature when relaxing.
Great amount of light! Tunable to 8 temps of white with the controller. High-end lighting quality that you can see right when you open the package...especially if you've ever put some cheap online megastore ones up for your bar or kid's room. These look great in my office and on all of my calls!

I used this for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. I had used non-tunable led strips because they are generally much less expensive, but I could never seem to get the warmth right without a huge amount of effort. With the tunable strips, we can get the perfect color temperature easily (and, of course, change it when we feel like it). Like all led strips, they are highly configurable as far as installation options.
