Not as advertised

If you're intending for this dimmer "switch" to turn lights on and off in addition to dimming, you may be disappointed.
It's a dimmer only, and does not turn lights completely off.

Response from Super Bright LEDs:

This dimmer was used in combination with the PWM-40-12 power supply. Generally speaking, this combination will not produce total black out per the power supplies documentation. See PWM40 PDF See note under "Duty cycle of output current VS Dimming input" - Note "Min. dimming level is about 6%."
It is always advisable to have a ON/OFF switch in the power supply circuit to completely stop any current flow.

Exactly as Advertised

Exactly what I needed for use with an Eiko dimmable LED troffer where I wanted to dim a subset of fixtures in a series of chained fixtures turned on/off by a single, separately located switch. I could not find a 0-10 volt dimmer anywhere else that was not a combination on/off + dimmer. … As for the dimmer not turning the light completely off, if you do your homework on this type of dimmer that is normal; the dimmer will take the light between about 10% and 100% and the separate on/off switch is needed to turn it completely off.

Slider dimmer switch

Very nice design and easy install, used in my kitchen to dim lights to reduce the brightness works very good, wiring diagram was a bit confusing but not a big deal.
