Product Description
LED replacement bulbs can fit vehicle tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals or side marker lights. This 7443 dual-contact, dual-function bulb has 45 LEDs (3528 SMD) that create a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with reduced hot spots. Tower-style design with a 16-mm wedge base for easy plug-and-play installation. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your car, truck, SUV, or van—25 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Available in cool white, amber and red. Not sold in pairs. Price per bulb.

When installed in a housing that has a matching colored lens, red and amber bulbs will appear brighter than white LED bulbs - even though they have lower lumen outputs. As an example: a red lens will filter out all but the red portion of light from a bulb, so if the light being emitted from the bulb is all red, none or very little light will be blocked by the lens. The light from a white LED bulb contains very little light in the red portion of the visible spectrum, so most of the light that contributes to its higher lumen value would be filtered out by a red lens. These are the BRIGHTEST ..............
Bought many bulbs in the past just to be disappointed in the difference between running light and brake light not being that far off in intensity, not with these bulbs they are Flare bright when lit up under braking and are a deep red color, trust me when I say "Do not look directly at the bulb" so far I am 100% satisfied and will be getting some 7440 bulbs to finish the job!
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these bulbs to anyone that wants nice bright lights.

Goldwing conversion to LEDs
With some accessories being added and a trailer with LED lighting, I was interested in reducing the electrical load and possibly gaining some brightness. I tried the 3W (7443-R3W) unit with a spreader lens along side this one with 45 LEDs on a tower arrangement. This part is shorter than the 3W and has a better spread in the vertical position of the trunk mounted tail and brake/turn lights. I also tried the 3W in the saddlebag lights which have a horizontal position. This was much better, but the base of the 3W did not fit as deep into the socket and felt like it could eventually fall out. Tried this part in all the locations and it fit and seemed as bright if not brighter from some views. The taillights definitely glow a brighter shade of red. With the stock clear bulbs, there is some washout in the center of the lens. Very pricey if you wanted to change all 10 bulbs on a GL1800. Make sure to get the Red (6) and Amber (4) versions for the appropriate bulbs.

You won't regret these
Awesome bulbs. The tail lights are slightly brighter than stock, while the brake lights are definitely brighter. It'll be nice when it gets foggy out and I'll be seen further away.
In the pictures, the light appears more orange than it actually is. They are true red.

Great Bulbs
Replaced the brake light on my new 2014 RAV 4. They went in easy and fit perfectly and they are really bright. Stock bulbs can't beat these LED light for brightness. They should come standard on all makes of cars. I'm sure the brightness of the bulbs will inprove safety and help to prevent rear end collisions.

They work great - not *quite* as bright as stock
Excellent product, and they are bright for sure. BUT, not quite as bright as the stock lights.
Pic attached - stock is on the left, LED on the right.
They are worth the money though, since in the long run I won't have to replace a bulb while I still own the bike!
