Good brake light replacments
I got two of these for my motorcycle (2006 Kawasaki Concours). I wanted something a little brighter, more reliable, and that took less power since the alternator on the Concours is a little small for a bike that size. When I got them, I put just one in at first so that I could compare it with the incandescent. This is subjective I know, but to my eyes it looked like the LED bulb was about 20% brighter in both modes. The difference between running-light and brake-light mode was similar to the incan. Probably still too expensive for general automotive use, but on a motorcycle where you only have one tail-light and want to be seen, it's well worth it.

Good enough for my needs
I bought these for the front turn signals on my HD Trike. The Normal 1157-A bulbs melted the lense. I figured these would be cooler and not melt the lense. They work in that reguard. They do make my turn signals flash faster. I dont see that as a problem (yet)
They are not much if any brighter than the 1157-A, but they are bright enough, and look good.
The issue I had was the bulb separated from the base easily while installing them, and I had a little trouble getting the base out of the socket. I anticipated this after reading reviews from others. I ordered 3 bulbs when I needed 2. (2 out of 3 aint bad) That worked out.
Overall it was about like I expected, and so far I am satisfied.
