Great Lights, really like the red
I mounted 3 of these on the the front of my UTV mainly so I could drive up to my deer stand before daylight and not spook the animals with my headlights or lightbar. I also figured it will be good in the fog which seems to be needed often. I haven't tried them in the fog yet. I found that I actually like driving with them more than the white lights, seems to be a lot less eyestrain in the dark and I can see things pretty well. They will definetly do the job I intended for them to do. Now I wish they had a 240 watt lightbar in red, I might consider changing my lightbar out if they had that.
Used for VFD Lights
I wanted to put red emergency lights on my truck without them looking like red emergency lights. I was able to mount these on a bull bar with a Sho-me 2 channel flasher. They apparently work fine because traffic noticed and moved to the side during recent calls. Be aware that these are not bright (207 Lumens). I didn't want to blind oncoming traffic or send them into spasms due to the flashing red. As for longevity, I don't know, however, there is supposed to be a 2 year warranty
I installed these on my 4 wheeler and am pleased with their brilliance and the stainless steel hardware. The wire harness with illuminated switch, fuse and relay are a must. They are all I need to get to my deer stand. The rest of the men are now interested in getting some for theirs. I actually drove up on some deer in the dark and they did not immediately run off.
