Our in-house lighting specialists developed this LED strip kit with you in mind. Each kit includes everything you need for simple, stress-free installation and use. Use solderless clamps to quickly and safely connect segments of LED strip tape without the hassle of wire stripping or splicing. Long-lasting 3M™ adhesives ensure easy mounting to virtually any surface. Use the Open-Lit smartphone app and bluetooth controller to customize color modes, brightness, speed, and timer settings. Open-Lit available for iOS and Android devices.

A specific complication.
All pieces function fine. Would recommend for a quick build.
I had an issue where the length I needed required me to cut the tape where it has solder between the sections (see picture). Because of that, the solderless clips were impossible to close and a few broke. I had to desolder the strip to get the clips on. It worked, but won’t be a good experience for anyone who doesn’t have a soldering iron and desoldering braid.
Received my products very quick, and all components and instructions were there. Everything works great, and we love the new lights. The only reason for a one star deduction is the clamps for changing between the LEDs and the wire is tricky. You have to play with them and go one by one to figure out where the loose connection may be. A little frustrating. But the end result was well worth it.
Fantastic lights but I wish...
First off this is a great AWSOME Light kit. Love that I can dim my lights and be able to change the colors. Also it seems to be Very bright. One thing I wish is if the controller had a mic rather than using my iPhones for the strobe effect feature. Not something that I am likely to use very much but when I do I would like to be able to have my phone still connected to my garage speaker rather than disconnecting to use the music and mic from my phone. Also have a power button on the controller. I also would love the idea that I would be able to turn the lights on and off without having to solely do it from my phone. Aside from that these are GREAT lights. For reference the pic I attached are the lights at 100% 👍🏽
