Overview
This mini LED dimmer with wireless RF remote is perfect for operating your single-color LED light strips. The LED remote uses brightness +/- controls or 6 button shortcuts to dim light strips from 10%-100% using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), and it controls your light strip from greater than 50' away in open air. Power-cycle mode retention allows your light strip to return to the mode that was selected before it was powered off. The dimmer has a maximum load capacity of 5 amps and is compatible with LED light strips that operate within a 5-24V DC range. A male LC2 locking connector easily plugs into the female connector on your light strip. Control an infinite number of receivers with 1 remote, and pair up to 3 remotes with one receiver. Includes remote battery.

Press ‘I’ key to turn on unit or press ‘O’ key to turn off. Retains last setting between power off and power on.
Press BRIGHT+ to increase brightness and press BRIGHT- to decrease brightness.
Directly switch to 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20% or 10% of full brightness.

Controller Installation & Remote Pairing Instructions
The main unit can work at DC 5V to 24V power supply. The red cable (or inner pole of DC jack) should be connected to positive and black cable (or outer pole of DC jack) to negative. Make sure the power supply voltage matches the LED strip requirement, incorrect voltage may damage strip.
The red cable should be connected to LED positive and black cable to negative. Use LC2 male connector on controller to plug in female LC2 connector on LED strip. The peak output current is 5 amperes.
CAUTION! Do not short circuit or overload the LED outputs, this may lead to permanent damage!

Please remove the battery insulator before using. The remote uses a 3V CR2025 battery. The RF wireless remote signal can pass through barriers, so it's not necessary to aim at the main unit when operating. For proper receiving of the remote signal, please do not install the main unit in metal enclosures.
Up to 3 wireless remotes can be assigned to operate the LED controller. Additionally, each individual wireless remote can be assigned to an unlimited number of controllers. The following steps show how to assign a new remote to the LED Controller:
- Disconnect the power to the LED controller, wait 5 seconds, and reconnect.
- Within 5 seconds of reconnecting the LED Controller, press the “100%” and “60%” buttons simultaneously.
- Disconnect the power to the LED controller, wait 5 seconds, and reconnect.
- Within 5 seconds of reconnecting the LED Controller, press the “ON/OFF” and “BRIGHT+” buttons simultaneously.

This is a great controller at a great price.
I really love this controller/dimmer. In fact I liked the first one so much that I bought a second one so that I could control LED light strips in two separate areas of my boat’s center console.
I like the fact that these controllers and their remotes operate independently of one another and that each unit comes from the factory paired with it’s remote.
There is a great range of illumination from bright to dim and when I power the units down they retain the last brightness setting. I like the fact that there are a number of brightness pre sets from 100% to 10%.
Having connectors in place is a nice feature, however I chose to remove the connectors on the input and output wires and in place of them used heat shrink butt connectors. IMHO this offered a less bulky connection that was more appropriate to a marine environment.
Did not operate as advertised
These devices were advertised that ONE remote could operate an infinite number of receivers, well that is true most of the time, but occasionally one or more would not operate. This causes the units to operate out of sequence which was not acceptable for my use. I returned the units.
Good product, longevity issues
Works as expected. This is my second time purchasing this set up since the first product failed after about three years of very minimal usage. I assume it was just a faulty remote but I'm not technically savvy enough to test each piece of this chain (batteries weren't the issue as I called SBL to troubleshoot the original piece). Ordered again in hopes this one will last longer AND I did not want to reconfigure my current set up.
