Nice Dimmer Switch
I paired these up with some recessed LED lights in my vintage camper. The switch does a nice job of dimming the lights. I also added another one of these to control the outside running lights and a 12v outlet for string lights. I'm pleased with the results.
Kitchen Cabinet Lights
If installing LED cabinet lighting and using a low voltage system (I am using flex strip lighting) you will need to use a controller designed for low wattage systems, and this fits the need. I could not find any other controllers in the local big name home improvement stores and until I did the research about LED systems I did not fully understand the need for a controller like this. I wired my power supply out put directly to the input of the controller and have another switch to control the power to it. ( I highly suggest this for powering your LED system, the controller can shut off the power to the lights, but the power transformer will have power going to it all the time and they can heat up and is the largest failure of LED systems) Wiring it up this way will require you to run a separate power switch, but can help you out in the long run.
Price is pretty much the same for even duel AC sliders BTW.
Great dimmer, easy to install, smooth dimming
I am so glad that I found SuperBrightLEDs! I looked first on Amazon, and I wasn't pleased with any of the options they had for low voltage dimmers that fit in a decora plate. Then I found this one. Installed it today, and it works so well to dim 12 recessed LEDs in a skoolie conversion. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love this dimmer.
