Overview

LED shop lights are the super-bright, energy-efficient alternative to traditional tube or strip light fixtures. They're perfect for garage lighting, workshop lighting, basement lighting, and utility room lighting. The 4' LED light consumes just 50 watts of power and emits 5,500 lumens of cool white illumination—equivalent to the output of 2 32-watt fluorescent T8 tubes. And with a life expectancy of 50,000 hours—5 times as long as fluorescent or metal-halide (MH) fixtures—the LED light reduces costly repairs, disposal fees and the need for replacements. A weatherproof aluminum housing and frosted polycarbonate lens are dust tight as well as water and impact resistant. Mount on your wall with included hardware or suspend from the ceiling with a suspension kit - sold separately.

great light, easy install

We placed three of these lights in the covered entry at our church. they range from 10-12 ft up. the color temp is great. they say they have a 120 degree range but i'd say it's a bit better than that... seems more like 150 degree. They were easy and quick to install using the clips provided. The instructions were a bit basic, but who reads those anyway, right? Make sure you put the tightening screw into place prior to installing the light.

Nice looking fixture

Been using for a few weeks now. Fixture is well made and looks nice, not "industrial". It sheds a bright, well diffused light that illuminates my shop well without the blinding glare some LES fixtures create. 50w replacing 580w of various types of bulbs - a nice energy savings! I bought the 2' version, as well, for above the workbench but haven't had time to try it yet. I wanted to switch to LED, in part, because the fluor tubes are very dim in the winter when the shop is unheated. I would recommend this to anyone...
