3157 CK LED Bulb - Dual Function 18 SMD Tower - Wedge Retrofit

Overview
CK-wired LED replacement bulbs can fit SRCK- and SACK-compatible boat and RV applications such as navigation lights, cabin lights, dome lights, tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals or side marker lights. This 3157 dual-contact, dual-function bulb has 18 LEDs (5050 SMD) that create a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with reduced hot spots. Produces 70 lumens. Tower-style design with a 16-mm wedge base for easy plug-and-play installation. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your motorhome or boat—25 times longer than incandescents. CK bulbs contain both grounds on the same side of the wedge. Use a ground tester or contact your dealer to see if your vehicle has CK light sockets. Available in amber and red. Not sold in pairs. Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. | ![]() |

- When looking for a replacement bulb, the way the socket is wired determines the part number of the replacement bulb. Sockets that are used for a single intensity call for 3156 or 7440 bulbs (single filament), while sockets that have a dual intensity call for 3157 or 7443 bulbs (dual filament). Dual filament bulbs will function properly in a single intensity socket. So a 3157 bulb will work in a 3156 socket and a 7443 will work in a 7440 socket. However, single filament bulbs will not function in a dual intensity socket. CK indicates where the socket's positive and negative terminals are located. CK LED bulbs are very versatile and can be used in any application a CK or non-CK bulb is used.

THE lamp for Polaris RZR
These lamps are THE plug-and-play solution for the 2012/13/14 Polaris RZR tail lamps. They are brighter than stock at both brightness levels. Couldn't be more pleased with them.
Tried others from other vendors, and they wither didn't work, or didn't work AND blew fuses. These are the ones... don't waste time or money on others.

Great Light at a great price
Maybe I did not read into these LED lights enough or what the lowest brightness value must be for a vehicle brake light. But I do not recommend this for your Daily Driver brake light. I did not feel that these are bright enough that other motorist can clearly see you are braking.
2012 Polaris Sportsman's use CK Bulbs!!!
I'm the owner of a 2012 Polaris Sportsman 850 Touring model and wanted to switch to LED tail lights. I originally emailed customer service and at their suggestions purchased a set of more expensive bulbs. I got them and they immediately blew my 20 amp fuse. I then again contacted customer service and was told I needed CK bulbs for my bike and were sent another set. I installed the CK bulbs and they work great. To be honest I can't tell they're any brighter then the standard bulbs.
Bright when bright, bright when dim
I bought these in red, for use in the brake lights in my Chevy Trailblazer. It takes CK bulbs, four of them.
Dual mode bulbs have a "dim" mode and a "bright" mode. In bright mode, these are SUPER bright. Brighter than even factory incandescents. They look real nice. Unfortunately, "dim" more is also super bright. The difference between brakes no and no brakes on is too subtle. It looks like you're driving around with your brake lights on all the time. It's a shame too because usually the problem with LED bulbs is that they aren't bright enough. If only you could dial back the brightness of the dim mode, these would be great. They are rated 30lm dim, 110lm bright. That seems very unlikely given how little difference there is between the two modes. Nice as these lights are, I wouldn't buy them again given the too-bright-dim-mode.
