Overview
LED replacement bulbs can fit numerous boat and RV applications such as navigation lights, cabin lights, dome lights, tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals or side marker lights. This 3156 single-contact bulb has 28 LEDs (0.5-watt SMD) that create a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with reduced hot spots. Produces up to 550 lumens at 6000K. Tower-style design with a 16-mm wedge base for easy plug-and-play installation. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your motorhome or boat—25 times longer than incandescents. Available in cool white, amber and red. Not sold in pairs. Price per bulb.

| Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. |  |

Great for my landscape lights
Bought 3 of these for my landscape lights to replace old 3156 glass bulbs. One burned out after about 8 days for no obvious reason; they replaced under warranty. They work great, ordering 2 more. Plenty bright, use less power, should last much longer than old bulbs...
Pretty good but expected more.
I installed these as reverse lights and they appeared to be much brighter when standing behind the vehicle but when in the cab of the truck looking back they really don't see to illuminate that much more. I think this is flaw in my actual tail light fixture rather than the bulb. This is on a 2009 GMC Sierra.
