Product Description

Designed to accept industry standard 2-pin plugs, this 2-1/2” round LED light meets DOT FMVSS 108 requirements for use as side lights and clearance lights. Mounts flush with compatible grommet or flange (sold separately). Each light boasts 4 high-flux LEDs that operate within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and consumes 90% less energy than incandescent lamps. Sonically sealed polycarbonate lens and weatherproof housing. The truck/trailer lights are available in red and amber. Lifetime warranty on all truck/trailer lights. Dimensions: 2.54"(6.30cm) x 1.24"(3.14cm) x 2.54"(6.30cm)

The Department of Transportation (DOT) sets strict guidelines in respect to external vehicle lighting that must be followed in order for a light to be street legal. Vehicle fixtures, such as headlights and tail lights, that have a DOT mark are legal, safe, and considered to provide suitable illumination for street use.

An SAE mark means that the Society of Automotive Engineers has tested a product to ensure that it follows guidelines, standards, and practices in regard to design, construction, and materials. SAE's requirements do not guarantee that the product will be street legal. The product must be approved by the Department of Transportation (DOT) before it is considered legal for street use.

In order for certain products within controlled categories, such as electrical and electronic devices, to be legally sold in the European Economic Area, they must bear a CE label, which stands for Conformité Européenne (European Conformity). Products with this label meet environmental, health, and safety standards put into place by European legislation.

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. Certain materials used in electronics and electrical products have been deemed hazardous to people and the environment and, therefore, must be limited. For a product to be RoHS compliant, testing must be performed and documented to show limited or no use of cadmium, hexavalent chromium, lead, mercury, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers.

Fit well and looked great :)

These fit into the rubber rings on a boat trailer very securely, wiring plug matched what was already there. Just a quick shot of Wd-40 to assist them going into the rings and it was a 30 sec. Install

Perfect for application

Using as aux run/turn/brake lights. Mounted in a custom made hitch insert. Using a dual intensity adapter with resistors to dim down for running. Looks great and it very bright at full intensity.

Recommended if looking for a nice looking, bright, 2-1/2", grommet mount light
