Overview
LED replacement bulbs can fit numerous boat and RV applications such as navigation lights, cabin lights, ceiling lights, dome lights, tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals or side marker lights. This 1157 dual-contact, dual-function bulb has 28 LEDs (0.5-watt SMD) that create a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with reduced hot spots. Produces up to 550 lumens at 6000K. Tower-style design with a BAY15D 15-mm bayonet base for easy plug-and-play installation—just twist to lock in place. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your motorhome or boat—25 times longer than incandescents. Available in cool white, amber and red. Not sold in pairs. Price per bulb.

| Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. |  |

Amazingly bright!
I started replacing all my OEM lights to LEDs. I have tried a few different items for the front turn signal, but none of them were as bright as the OEM. Especially, they were too dim during the daylight. After installing this 1157-WHP28-T lights, the changes were noticeable. Other drivers can definitely recognize you what you are up to. My turn signal's cover has yellow coating so there was no problem using the white LEDs.
Help me get seen
I put this bulb in the taillight of a SYM HD200 motor scooter and was pleased with the result. It's brighter that the original bulb and draws less power. I ride in stop and go traffic...sitting at traffic lights with the brake lights on.....never really able to get up to speed and the battery was always being drained. So, this helps out.
