BRIGHT Light. Good Price. Looks and Works Great
I needed a really bright LED strip for a frosted-acrylic lightbox that's going to be onstage (so the lumens really have to be up there.) This dual-row light strip (Natural White) not only looks fantastic, it was fairly easy to assemble and didn't break the bank. The self-adhesive backing seemed to be quite good for adhering to aluminum flat bar. (Though, I did also tack it with hot glue, just as insurance.) The additional components I used for this project (requiring some straightforward soldering) were: Single Color LED Controller with Dynamic Modes - RF Remote--Product Code: MCBRF-4A Mean Well LED Switching Power Supply - LPV Series 20-100W Single Output LED Power Supply - 24V DC Product Code: LPV-100-24(POWERCORD)
Great replacement for T5 lamps and ballasts.
I have had to replace T5 under-counter lamps and ballasts countless times over the past 20 years, while several original T8's continued to burn. The LED strip lights will hopefully last as long as I do, and provide great light. I installed the strip lights and transformers in the T5 fixtures.

The product is fantastic. I bought 12 rolls cut it up in between 20”, 48”, &!60” pieces soldering 18/2 SO cord on to each piece (length). There was even several sections the I took from on roll and added it to another to get my desired length, done by simply soldering the the two sections together with ..a drop of solder at the connection ( be aware of polarity)
Also it is very ..durable .as proven by me foolishly stepping on it, (folding it virtually in half) then hooking the same section up (initially in) reverse polarity to find that it was still functioning.
Now my only concern is how long it will last
But I have a good feeling about the chances
Also I found the soldering was easiest when done from the back
You have to peal the tape back a pinch and I scratched the copper “dot” lightly before soldering
This is not a difficult product to work with regardless of you skill level-( assuming there is some skill to start)
