Overview
Increase your safety and visibility with this HLV7 series H1 LED headlight bulb. The single-beam bulb emits 2,000 lumens of cool white illumination and features 3rd generation cooling technology. It has an integrated heat sink instead of a short-lived fan or bulky braided heat sink. This allows for a longer-lasting bulb and easier installation in tight spaces. It also has an internal driver, which eliminates the need to mount an additional part and locate an appropriate mounting spot. The LED bulb lasts 13 times longer than halogen bulbs and 3 times longer than HID bulbs. Its LED array is designed to mimic the filament in halogen bulbs—creating a closely matched beam style. This CAN-Bus-compatible H1 bulb operates on 9-32 VDC.

YOU WILL NEED AN ADAPTER KIT TO CONVERT THE PLUG
These work and are a huge improvement over halogen bulbs. BUT. Halogen H1 bulbs have one prong on the back of the bulbs. LED H1 bulbs will have two wires with a prong at the end. You can either hook the positive wire to the original plug and attach the ground cable to the base of the headlight assembly where the the bulb is held in. This will require modification to your headlight assembly, which is not something most people will want to do nor have the expertise to do. None of this is explained on the listing and and when I contacted SBL tech support about the 2 wires 1 plug problem, that is what they told me to do.
After searching around online for a while I found a simple, cheap adapter kit for this exact issue for like $6. Got it off Amazon. Had it next day. It worked perfectly without any modification to my headlight assembly.
I gave this 2 stars because I feel like this is something that SBL should have listed on the products page and offered the kit additionally.
Response from Super Bright LEDs:
Works in projector housings!
I used these to replace some aging HID light bulbs in my headlights, They fit in quite nicely into the housing without many issues, The heat sink is a bit big but i managed to wiggle it around without modifying any of the body of the car, It lights up the road like crazy!
Fitment issues
Did not fit the housings on a Mazda Miata.
