LEDs are mounted to one side of the board for direct illumination with no wasted light. The 36-mm LED bulb has a festoon base for easy plug-and-play installation. This LED car bulb operates within a 9-16 VDC range and lasts 25 times longer on your car, truck, SUV, or van than incandescent bulbs. Functionality
This would of been a great led since it’s covered but after a few weeks of being installed in the license plates I found that it kept popping the fuse (5 amp). I upped the fuse to a 7.5amp and was okay for about 2 weeks then started popping that fuse. Was unable to put another fuse in as it would pop instantly, after further diagnoses found that it was the led itself (thought it was the car harness as it would happen randomly) not the car that was causing this issue. Happened once in my car popping the fuse but was worse on the wife’s as how I found out. color was also not a cool white was more warm then other leds bought from here. I’m pulling all them out not risking a fire hazard or wiring damage if it’s pulling that much amperage also to avoid a ticket.
