|Part NO||CCT / Wavelength |
CCT is used to express the color or shade of white light. The Correlated Color Temperature is the measure of the color appearance of the light emitted from a light source, measured in degrees kelvin (K). The CCT rating is a general 'warmth' or 'coolness' measure of its appearance. Wavelength is used to express a specific color of light other than whites. Wavelength is the portion of the visible spectrum that the human eye can detect, between 380 and 700 nanometers (nm). When trying to match an existing bulb color choose a replacement that most closely matches the CCT or wavelength of the original.
|Beam Angle |
Beam angle is used to express the width of the light emitting from the source. The narrower the beam angle the more focused the light energy is. Comparing two 40 watt lights one with a beam angle of 30(a) and another with a beam angle of 90(b), They both produce the same amount of light output but (a) will appear brighter in the beam angle compared to (b) at the sacrifice of light spread.

Very bright light
If you want to use these as daytime driving light look no more, they are very intense and draw very little power and can be spotted a mile away! they are quality made and supplied with stainless hardware, i highly recommend these to anyone that wants to add extra lighting to their ride.
The best aux or DRL for a bike
I have installed 2 or those super light in front of my GL1500 pointing in front of the bike lighting the whole front end, it does a super job, they are small, hidden under the front head light with a simple braket easy to install. Plus the chrome finish is great very high quality light.
Off Road Rock Lights
Using them on my Jeep as rock lights. Because of the heat here in Phoenix night wheeling is a big deal. These lights are small, sturdy, low draw and throw off just enough light (too much light like HIDs or LED light bars will blind the other drivers). I can leave them on all night even with the engine turned off and don't have to worry about draining the battery.
Mounted on my Concours 1400
I just mounted a black set of these on my black Kawasaki Concours 1400. I attached them to the fender struts. They compliment the black of the bike nicely and are very bright. They appear to be well made. I had a similar set of LED lights on my previous bike and fellow riders commented that they were impressive and could always see me very well in sunlight. I recommend them.
As far as built quality, it has a great finish, and very durable. It's pretty heavy for its size, but the light output for a 10W led is pretty impressive. Overall i'm happy with it
great little lights
I bought the black body with 25 degree light pattern. The two reason I wanted to add them was first to be seen better when driving through city taffic and secondly to see the road better when out on dark roads. These lights are great !
I wasn't quit sure which light pattern (25 or 45 degree) to go with and searched the web for some help but didn't really find the answer I wanted. I pulled the trigger and went with the 25 degree light pattern. Glad I did. The pattern is concentrated just right.
These lights carry a powerfull punch into darkness. Small so they can be mounted just about anywhere where light is needed. Won't block wind due to the shape, so air cooled motorcycles will not be affected. Very robust little light that shines on it's on in daylight or sunshine. If you are wanting to add lights to your motorcycle, ATV, lawnmower... these lights will not disappoint you and so easy to install.
Where are the instructions?
Comes with no instructions ! A wiring harness with relay is available but not needed due to the low draw of the LED , only 1 amp for two of them. They can be wired right off your headlamp wires but you will need 2 3a diodes and a small push button switch. About $5 from Radio Shack. The LEDS were installed on my SV- 650 Susuki and are very impressive and well worth the money. See the photo , easier to wire than it looks.
Bought these for a Baja off-road motorcycle trip
"You should never drive at night in Mexico" but some how I always ended up on the Baja roads at night. One of the lights is almost as good as my motorcycle headlight, two of them really make a difference. I am on a KLR 650 with not much spare wattage. I am amazed at the amount of light 10 watts of LED produces. I suggest if you're looking to punch a hole n the darkness you go with the narrow beam. I have mine set to illuminate a a good portion of the road side and some frontal area. Bang for buck I think they are a great product. I will later post pictures. Fred
The smallest and brightest.
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THEM. I did last week and I'm still seeing spots. Not really, but they are the brightest and most durable little LEDs I've ever used.
