Great light engine driver

Used this in to drive a Luxeon cob light engine with an output of over 2200 Lumens at 500ma and 37.5volt output using an 11.1volt LiPo battery pack And ran very cool for 2hrs 50minutes! Great driver and works down to under 9.6volts at near full output.

Reliable @87% efficiency and 50% the cost!

Apparently, these 'Blocks are going out of stock so the half price deal will not last long. 350ma is enough for my needs so there is no reason for me to buy the 750ma Block. My principal use of the FlexBlock is to rip the power supply out of inexpensive 120VAC LEDs and drive them with Li Ion batteries for portable illumination. Measuring the current 'normally' consummed by the desired LED can be done easily by lifting one lead and inserting an amp-meter. If the loaded voltage is less than 50V and the current 350ma or less, the FlexBlock can easily handle it. Using DC in, a 20K potentiometer is used to adjust the current to its optimal value and then, the resistance is determined, and a fixed resistance (using the same ohm-meter) is substituted for the Adj potentiometer. Hey Presto! No need to fool around with three terminal voltage regulators and heat sinks. The job is done and FlexBlock has your back.
What a deal. Oh, BTW, check out the cost, 2 ship for the price of 1.

Best little booster module

Exactly what I was looking for and I didn,t need to reinvent the wheel. Couldn't ask for anything more except maybe a constant current laser driver greater than 4 amps
