Awesome Light Output, Lightweight Hardware
I installed these on the rear of my semi truck sleeper as work lights to replace two, 4" round, incandescent lights that were too dim and did not shine any light straight down and sideways.
The hardware on these LED lights is definitely NOT very heavy duty. I added flat washers to both ends of the long bolt that goes through the light housing and mounting bracket to help reinforce both.
The light output to the rear is phenomenal; VERY bright and awesome coverage!!! The light output straight down is good, down and back 20 or 30 degrees, or so, is a little less than I was hoping. I'll update my review after I use them for a season.
More Flood than Spot
These lights are bright and they light up the area in front of my truck great. BUT my weak headlights on bright, reach farther. I can't see how they are spot/floods. They are great floods. In fact, if I can find a true spot, I will keep one of these on my truck and add the spot on the left side. I wanted these to avoid deer and pigs at night. The headlights on my 2019 F250 do not get it done.
