Overview
This Tunable White LED Panel Light is perfect for photography lighting, continuous video lighting, office lighting, school lighting, hospital lighting, basement lighting, and other applications where it's beneficial to mimic natural daylight cycles. Color temperature can be adjusted from 3000K to 5000K with the tunable white controller or wall switch (both sold separately). The 2'x2' bi-color LED light is designed for residential and commercial suspended grid ceilings or can be used with a surface mount kit. Replace existing fluorescent troffer light fixtures, or use the panel for new construction applications. The LED panel light delivers a smooth, flawless wall of illumination without visible bulbs or hot spots. Bright and powerful—the 40-watt LED light emits up to 4,300 lumens of illumination—equivalent to the output of 2 32-watt fluorescent T8 tubes. The LED panel light operates within a wide 100-277 VAC range, has a sturdy aluminum alloy frame with a white finish, and is designed to last 5 times longer than fluorescent panels.

Great illumination
I've installed three of these light panels (as well as two of the larger 2'x4' version), all using the surface mount kit.
The diffuser is amazing -- even though the panel is only 1/2" thick, the light is perfectly uniform with no discernible variation in brightness or color temperature across the panel.
The surface mount kit is a robust design and it is aesthetically pleasing once installed. However, it is difficult to align during installation. I pre-assembled everything on the workbench in order to create my own drill template for the ceiling.
The sheet metal on the power supply is a bit thin for my liking.
The remote control feels cheap, but is perfectly functional. A panel can be paired with at most one remote at a time.
When the panel is power cycled, it remembers its last color temperature but returns to full brightness.
Virtual Sky Lights
While adding a new wood ceiling, we considered skylights be decided to integrate 4 panels as virtual sky lights (24/7). The thin panels were framed/recessed into the ceiling.
The CCT tuning and dimming work well with both of the remotes. The panels were paired with the remote into two groups for flexibility.
I wish I could also control this through a smartphone app (HomeKit)
Brings new light to my stained glass!
The light is EXACTLY what I hoped it would be. I use it behind a stained glass in the interior of my historical home. Super cool. Remote works well. Install was pretty reasonable. Very thin. Would be nice if the light dimmed lower for the evening.
