Replacment for High Bay Lights
I was looking for an LED replacement for my High bay lights. I have a mix of 400 and 1000 watt MH depending on the area and task lighting available. I was not able to get a lumen chart for this light so I ordered 5 of them as a trial. My factory has 24 foot eaves so the lights vary from 22 to 26 feet off the floor.
We installed these lights and I can say they are great for lighting the area, LED are known for not pushing light to he floor but there do a good job of getting the light there. we now can use one light fixture for all area's and do not need a mix of wattage's, I am very happy with them. There are only a few negatives.
1. The supplied power cord is around 12" so lead extension is a necessity.
2. I did not install the reflector and the light is very bright at the fixture, it is almost distracting if you glance up to look at it and it is in your peripheral vision. if the application calls for looking near the light it is not optimal. I am sure the reflect would help.
