VERY NICE, but a few installation issues.
PROS: Construction appears very good. Units are completely sealed except for leads, which are pre-soldered (nice). They look nice and clean (installation). CONS: They do fit in a J-box, but width and height are a bit tight. My J-boxes were installed in concrete risers and a couple of the boxes were crooked. I had to grind the interior of the crooked boxes in order for the lights to mount square in the riser. I also had to "open up" the screw holes so they would align with the mounting holes in the J-box. The mounting flange is plastic, which makes mods easy, but I think some of the threaded holes for mounting face plates may have stripped during face installation. The faceplates appear to be cast metal, painted. The paint scratches easily. Even with these reservations, these are VERY nice lights for the price. We'll see how long they last.
Quality lights that are BRIGHT...maybe too brite?
The lights themselves are of good quality and come with a bunch of installation items. I would totally recommend these lights... I have mine installed on 5 steps leading to our front door... here is my one disatisfaction... the louvered faceplate is set back to it doesn't really shield the light as you walk up to the steps until you are on top of the light itself. Fortunately i had the louvered faceplates from my previous set up that i used. other than that minor detail i am completely satisifed.
