Great For Outdoors
I needed 5 of these to resolve a poor install by my builder--poor quality parts and not the right outdoor application--but these solved the problems. These are a bit larger in size--they almost fill the junction box--so I had to cut & chisel some brick to get them to fit. I wish I had spec'd these out in the beginning. The Warm White also is a good match for the other porch lights (halogen) and low-voltage driveway lights (LED's from here as well). If you have outdoor 120V step or walkway lights, these are great!
great little light!
Rather than using these lights on steps, I opted to mount them in the soffit above the rear door, one on each side. I was quite curious as to just how much light they would give off given where they were mounted and the type of fixture. End result is quite satisfactory. The door and an area roughly 15' out from it is amply illuminated.
