Disappointed
I recommended and installed this kit for a customer and am embarrassed after seeing how it works. When someone buys a product with a remote control, the assumption is the remote will make it an easier product to use.
Just the opposite is true for this application. I installed my customer's landscape lights about 20' apart and after connecting everything could not understand how the remote worked. So, instructions with the kit would be handy for starters.
Upon calling technical support Monday I was told the remote has to be held within two feet of the front of the lights INDIVIDUALLY and then the remote will function.
WHAT???????
So each time my customer wants to make a change to his landscape lighting he has to walk to the edge of the woods and point the remote at each light and make the change desired.
To say that is an absurd use of a remote is an understatement.
If I had not already installed the kit I would have returned it, perhaps I can prevent someone from the same error.
