Overview
LED replacement bulbs can fit numerous vehicle applications such as vanity lights, map lights, dashboard lights, instrument panel lights, dome lights and gauge lights. This LED 74 bulb replaces a variety of traditional bulbs including 74, 103 and 118 bulbs. It has 1 LED (3528 SMD) that creates a 120° viewing angle. Miniature wedge base for easy plug-and-play installation. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and is designed to last 10,000 hours on your car, truck, SUV, or van—8 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Available in cool white, warm white, natural white, blue, green, amber and red. Not sold in pairs. Price per bulb.

| Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. 2000 Jeep Wrangler Brightness
This is one of those products that requires you to do your homework. But it's totally worth it.
There are LOTS of forums discussing LEDs right now and LOTS of good info out there on them (some bad info, too be let's focus on the positive).
If you install your new LEDs in the plastic socket you removed and it doesn't work, carefully remove the LED from the socket just as you did the old one and flip it around. They're polarized so they only work in one direction (or so I've read on the forums).
On my first try for the gauge cluster, I got 1 out of 5 correct. That's just bad luck.
On my first try for the climate controls, I got 0 out of 3 correct. That's the universe proving its utter and complete hatred for me.
As far as the product performance goes, I can't be happier. Very clear and bright. Makes my gauges look like the gauges in my wife's 2014 Wrangler and for a superb price!

Nice and bright though i wish i had gotten the led with the 360° angle since the sides of the heater control face plate are a bit dimmer than the middle. They also fit a bit loose but with a little bit of fiddling i got it to stay. If i drive over a big bump, idk it might come loose. But all in all the lights work great.
