1. CAN Bus LED bulbs are simple plug-and- play LED bulbs which are made specifically for CAN Bus-equipped vehicles. These bulbs work with your vehicle's advanced computer system, so when your vehicle's computer reads them, they respond back correctly.
To see if your vehicle operates with a CAN Bus system, simply remove the bulb you're looking to replace, start your vehicle, and if you have a "Bulb Out" message on your dash you have a CAN Bus system.
|Part NO||CCT / Wavelength |
CCT is used to express the color or shade of white light. The Correlated Color Temperature is the measure of the color appearance of the light emitted from a light source, measured in degrees kelvin (K). The CCT rating is a general 'warmth' or 'coolness' measure of its appearance. Wavelength is used to express a specific color of light other than whites. Wavelength is the portion of the visible spectrum that the human eye can detect, between 380 and 700 nanometers (nm). When trying to match an existing bulb color choose a replacement that most closely matches the CCT or wavelength of the original.
|MCD per LED||Intensity per LED||Brightness||Millicandela |
Millicandela is a unit of measurement for the light output of LEDs. Candela is one of the seven base units of the International System of Units. It is a unit of Luminous Intensity (I), or Light Power per Steradian (SR), while steradian is a unit of 3D cone angle with which the projected area of 1 steradian over a sphere with a 1m radius, is 1 square meter. One thousand millicandela equals one candela or approximately one candle power.
|Beam Angle |
Beam angle is used to express the width of the light emitting from the source. The narrower the beam angle the more focused the light energy is. Comparing two 40 watt lights one with a beam angle of 30(a) and another with a beam angle of 90(b), They both produce the same amount of light output but (a) will appear brighter in the beam angle compared to (b) at the sacrifice of light spread.
|Current Draw @ Operating Voltage |
Current Draw is used to size fuses and wire for a circuit. Current draw is the amount of energy consumed by an LED or LEDs in an electrical circuit at a specific voltage, measured in amps (A) or milliamps (mA).

2000 Jeep Wrangler Brightness
This is one of those products that requires you to do your homework. But it's totally worth it.
There are LOTS of forums discussing LEDs right now and LOTS of good info out there on them (some bad info, too be let's focus on the positive).
If you install your new LEDs in the plastic socket you removed and it doesn't work, carefully remove the LED from the socket just as you did the old one and flip it around. They're polarized so they only work in one direction (or so I've read on the forums).
On my first try for the gauge cluster, I got 1 out of 5 correct. That's just bad luck.
On my first try for the climate controls, I got 0 out of 3 correct. That's the universe proving its utter and complete hatred for me.
As far as the product performance goes, I can't be happier. Very clear and bright. Makes my gauges look like the gauges in my wife's 2014 Wrangler and for a superb price!
TJ Dasboard LED conversion
Went in great and looks great.... The wife likes it and my dad will be doing the same thing to his Jeep. Here is a write up on my Jeep forum.
Excellent improvement for a Jeep Cherokee XJ
Replace the interior and instrument panel old bulbs with the Super Bright LED's on our Jeep XJ Cherokee 2001. The 74-AHP works perfect in the IP Cluster and shifter indicator. We picked green lighting and it is much brighter than the old stock bulbs... And the dimmer still works ! Thank you for the fast shipping and high quality LED's... Also changed out the rest of the interior with Super Bright LED lights and it make a huge difference!!!
Replacements work great!
I needed to replace the instrument lights on my wife's BMW motorcycle. I went to the dealer to buy some bulbs and they said they had to order them. I told them that I came in to buy not to order. I ordered replacements from you and they were cheaper, brighter and will be much longer lasting. You just have to pay attention to polarity. It would be nice if the negative terminal was marked somehow.
nice and bright! exact correct color!
this is a great bulb. replaced the bulb in aftermarket tachometer with this tiny LED. it is the exact color of off white-blue that's advertised as "cool white." brighter than the yellow bulb for sure. not too bright to distract. exactly right for my application!
2007 scion tc
Used in the shift column since OEM light went out. Works good, wish it was just a little bit brighter but I think it works good overall. had to use a little electrical tape to keep it snug in the fixture but it works ok.
Good with issues
These lights are bright, but too bright for my setup in my Ford Focus. It causes very bright spots in the climate controls that are distracting at even the lowest brightness on the instrument panel dimmer.
Nice and bright though i wish i had gotten the led with the 360° angle since the sides of the heater control face plate are a bit dimmer than the middle. They also fit a bit loose but with a little bit of fiddling i got it to stay. If i drive over a big bump, idk it might come loose. But all in all the lights work great.
