Overview

Use this LED light engine to retrofit metal-halide (MH) and other high-intensity discharge (HID) fixtures into super-bright, energy-efficient LED fixtures. This LED retrofit kit is perfect for high- and low-bay industrial applications, such as parking lot lights, canopy lights, wall pack lights, and parking garage lighting. The non-weatherproof retrofit kit includes an aluminum LED light engine with cooling fan, a 100-277V AC Mean Well power supply, and brackets for wall mounting or installation in MH light fixtures (ballast can be removed or bypassed). Using powerful LEDs, the light engine emits 12,700 lumens of cool white illumination. This LED light uses just 100 watts of power and is a replacement for 250-watt MH bulbs. With a life expectancy twice as long as HID bulbs, the LED light reduces costly repairs, disposal fees, and the need for replacements. See all LED retrofit kits.

LM-79
Products that are LM-79 certified have been tested for photometric and electrical data by an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized laboratory. The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) created LM-79-08—Approved Method: Electrical and Photometric Measurements of Solid-State Lighting Products—to establish guidelines and procedures for the testing of solid-state lighting (SSL) products such as LED fixtures. Procedures are listed for luminous flux, electrical power, luminous intensity distribution, and chromaticity. See documentation section under specifications for available report.
LM-80
Products that are LM-80 certified have been tested for lumen depreciation by an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized laboratory. The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) created LM-80-08 to establish guidelines and procedures for the testing of solid-state lighting (SSL) products, such as LED packages, modules, and arrays (not complete fixtures). Procedures are listed for testing lumen maintenance over a period of time. See documentation section under specifications for available report.
CE
In order for certain products within controlled categories, such as electrical and electronic devices, to be legally sold in the European Economic Area, they must bear a CE label, which stands for Conformité Européenne (European Conformity). Products with this label meet environmental, health, and safety standards put into place by European legislation.
RoHS Compliant

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. Certain materials used in electronics and electrical products have been deemed hazardous to people and the environment and, therefore, must be limited. For a product to be RoHS compliant, testing must be performed and documented to show limited or no use of cadmium, hexavalent chromium, lead, mercury, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers.
