Overview

Increase your safety and visibility with this H7 LED headlight/fog light kit. The single-intensity LED headlight bulbs emit 4,000 lumens of cool white illumination per set (2,000 lumens each) and feature 3rd generation cooling technology. They have integrated heat sinks instead of short-lived fans or bulky braided heat sinks. This allows for a longer-lasting bulb and easier installation in tight spaces. They also have internal drivers, which eliminates the need to mount an additional part and locate an appropriate mounting spot. The compact bulbs last 13 times longer than halogen bulbs and 3 times longer than HID bulbs. LED arrays in each bulb are designed to mimic the filament in halogen bulbs—creating a closely matched beam style. These waterproof, CAN Bus compatible bulbs operate within a wide 9-32 VDC range. This long-lasting kit includes 2 LED headlight bulbs and 2 adapter plugs. Price per kit.

2013 Mercedes Sprinter Van

These bulbs fit in the low-beam socket of the Sprinter van and there is just enough room to replace the large plastic gasketed headlight cover in the engine compartment. It's easy to miss this, but the LED bulb does twist off of the heat-sink so the bulb can be installed with the stock H7 wire clip (no zip-ties required). Install the bulb, clip it and then twist lock the heat sink in place. The dash warning light came on after the install, so I ordered the recommended resistor/can-buss fix. The warning light still comes on so I am currently consulting with tech for a fix on this. I have not driven the vehicle yet but the lights look good in the driveway! I'll try to update after the bulb warning light fix and after driving the van.

Awesome lights

I installed these lights in a 2013 Hyundai Donate GLS. It was a 10 minute installation. I followed the included instructions and it was a snap. Much better view driving. Only drawback is with the heatsink on the bulb, you can't put the covers back on the rear of the light housing.

2012 Honda Goldwing

These bulbs are a challenge to install. Due to the tight space on the fairing and bulb openings it is necessary to cut out the center of the rubber gasket that covers the space between the bulb and light housing. The new bulb fits very tight in the opening, and is a bit difficult to push in far enough to get the pins of the bulb to fit into the plastic mounting ring. But WOW, are they bright! The new Low beam bulb is much brighter than the original bulb and my only concern is that they may be an issue for oncoming traffic. I'll try them out tonight and see how they do.

Pain in the ass to install (2004 Mazda 3 Hatch)

These bulbs get the job done; but don't really offer any more of an advantage versus the regular H7's that these replaced. Sure, the street signs and license plates of other cars pop out much more than before, but the actual distance that you can see (even with proper adjustment) isn't any better and may actually be worse/dimmer than the stock H7's. I often find myself double checking that my low beams are actually on because of how dim the lights appear under certain conditions.
On the bright side (pun intended) is that they do clean up the look of the car a bit and they do provide a better field of view towards the edge of the road, but being honest for the price (CDN+Shipping) I'd look elsewhere, or at least do more research before investing in these. NOTE: For owners of 04-08 Mazda 3's w/ H7 retaining brackets; a separate adapter must be bought from a third party to have these properly fit. Otherwise these lights will not be secure in the housing and have an improper beam pattern.
