Overview
LED replacement bulbs can fit numerous vehicle applications such as dome lights, map lights and turn signal lights. This BA9s single-contact LED bulb replaces a variety of traditional bulbs including 1445 and 17053 bulbs. It has 5 LEDs (5050 SMD) that emit a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with no hot spots. Tower-style design with a 9-mm miniature bayonet base for easy plug-and-play installation—just twist to lock in place. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.5V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your car, truck, SUV, or van—25 times longer than incandescents. Available in cool white, warm white, blue, green, amber and red.

| Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. |  |

Perfect for my application
I used these to replace all 12 lights in the tach and speedo in my '69 Corvette, including the high beam monitor, brake warning light and turn signal indicators. Although SuperBrightLeds recommends using green LEDs for the turn indicators and red for one of the warning lights, I chose to use all "cool white" lamps, as the others already have colored lenses from the factory. I'm very pleased with the results. The lamps fit perfectly into all locations, provide much brighter illumination without any dead or hot spots and eliminate that old-looking incandescent glow. Nice, easy upgrade with no downside.
