Overview
Increase your safety and visibility with this 9012 LED headlight/fog light kit. The single-intensity LED headlight bulbs emit 4,000 lumens of cool white illumination per set (2,000 lumens each) and feature 3rd generation cooling technology. They have integrated heat sinks instead of short-lived fans or bulky braided heat sinks. This allows for a longer-lasting bulb and easier installation in tight spaces. They also have internal drivers, which eliminates the need to mount an additional part and locate an appropriate mounting spot. The compact bulbs last 13 times longer than halogen bulbs and 3 times longer than HID bulbs. LED arrays in each bulb are designed to mimic the filament in halogen bulbs—creating a closely matched beam style. These waterproof, CAN Bus compatible bulbs operate within a wide 9-32 VDC range. This long-lasting kit includes 2 LED headlight bulbs and 2 adapter plugs. Price per kit.

I Can See Clearly Now !!! 2013 Chrysler 200
Reason behind 4 instead of 5 stars, all new cars require the resistor kits for these to work properly. I had to buy them from another source to get a better price. The LEDs dont use alot of power, the new car relays look at this low power consumption as being a burnt out bulb and will flash it on and off to test it, resistor kits draw more current and tell the test its all good, does not affect light brightness.
These lights are bright, it installed perfectly behind the dust cover with no mods. You do have to tuck the resistor kit inside and I wrapped my resistors in loose fitting alum foil to dissapate more heat and not melt plastic if it touches it inside tucked away.
2 weeks of being installed and no issues, the light is pure white light, love it.
Easy to install, love the fanless, not so bright
I got these to replace the factory bulbs in my 2012 Chevy Volt. They were simple to install, with no bulky/noisy fan like the other 9012 bulbs that I found. They do a pretty good job, but comparing the light output to the factory bulb, they seem to not put out as much light. It's still fine for driving and the bright white light illuminates things more clearly than the old yellow-hued bulbs, but definitely not as bright.
These are rated at 1,300 lumens, so the not-as-bright thing makes sense because the other fan-equipped bulbs are rated over 2,000 lumens. My guess is that's because the brighter bulbs with more LEDs need to have an active fan for sufficient cooling. I'm fine with the lower lumens anyway, because some of the brighter LEDs can really blind oncoming drivers, and I don't want to be one of *those* people. ;-)
