SuperBright 2WFLS-x1200-24V LED: my review
Overall: excellent product, very happy
Technical: you need to be good with a soldering iron; For the power supply (I got the 150W version), you need to have a spare power cord that you can splice up. I used a cord from an old PC.
Installation: Soldering the wires to the LED strip took some time. Also, ensuring that the location you will install the LED strip is marked is important for proper alignment. The power supply generates heat whenever it is on...even with the lights off. Ensure you have a decently ventilated location for mounting. I bought the dimmer which I recommend.
Light color: The 6k has a minor blue tint...but I would consider it a super white. I chose this insulated kit because I wanted the 6k LED's. The non-insulated kit is 4500k or 9k. 4500k is too yellow for me and 9k is way too blue. The insulation layer helps so you do not touch the LED's during install as well (side bonus)
Electric Cost (per my meter): Normal usage...less then $3 per year.
Installed under upper cabinets over a workbench
Nice and bright. Great attaching glue strip holds in place. Dimmable. I recommend the 24V version. When cutting, I always cut right next to the diode end giving the new cut end a larger area to solder to. Shrink tubing slides over the soldered end and shrinks to a perfect fit.
