Overview
This flexible LED light strip operates on 24 VDC and can be used in longer runs than 12V strips. It emits 330 lumens of cool, natural, or warm white illumination per foot. And with a high CRI (color-rendering index) of up to 95, light from the LEDs will show the true colors of any object or surrounding. The 16.4' or 3.3' high-density LED tape light can be easily cut into separate 6-LED segments and installed with its peel-and-stick 3M™ adhesive backing. Attached plug-and-play LC2 locking connectors let you quickly power and join multiple strips. This strip is designed to last 30,000 hours. It's great for retail shops, jewelry cases, supermarkets, food and meat cases, museums, galleries, videography, under-cabinet lighting, or any indoor application where presentation, appearance, and depth of color are critical.

Great color and brightness
These are just about the perfect LEDs for lighting up a room. I stuck the strip (almost the entire 5m length) on an aluminum channel (two 8-foot pieces joined together) and it's more than enough for the whole room (about 15 by 15), at a maximum of 60 watts using the Meanwell LPF-60D-24 power supply. For comparison, a 300-watt halogen torchiere is far dimmer. At full power, the color is a very pleasant warm sunny glow.
My only problem with this setup is that the Meanwell power supply doesn't dim enough for late-night mood lighting (minimum is 10% of maximum current). Also, at lower power levels the LEDs are whiter (or maybe I just think that because dimming incandescent bulbs makes them redder and that doesn't happen with LEDs). Plus, the diffused pale yellow light at low levels make the room look dingy. I might consider dividing the strip into separately powered and dimmable sections. In any case, this isn't a flaw of the light strip itself. Lighting design is hard.
