Dont use a resistor cross your wires use this
used on my 2006 dr650se. Dont use a resistor cross your wires use this, the resistors will get hot! and melt plastic. Just replace your high watt flasher with this low watt flasher and your no LED flash or quick LED flash issues will go away. If you are having both LED indicators lighting up like hazards issues; its your control box "dummy light"(it wont be lighting up in this case) take out, or replace with a LED also, and it will stop lighting both left and right indicators.
This is all easy to do, but was hard to figure out for being novice. Your welcome for putting all this hard learned info in one place.
Great flasher!
I was looking around for a while for a flasher that would work with LED turn signals on my 1972 CB750 and none of the recommended ones worked for me. Got this one and it was working perfectly. Turn signals were flashing normally. Only thing I found that on CB bikes you have to reverse the wires for it to work - black to gray and you are in business.
Dual Sport Turn Signal Application
Wired this in to control the turn signals on a dual sport motorcycle conversion. It has worked well for several months now. The blink rate is appropriate for turn signals. I included it in the circuit between the power source and the switch, which selects which LED receives power (or none, for 'off') which allows one module to be used by either direction's turn signals.
