Overview

Headlight LED load resistors prevent "bulb out" error messages and bulb flickering. These 6 ohm 50-watt load resistors compensate for the low power draw of 9005 LED bulbs so that they can communicate properly with your vehicle's computer system. They can also be used in conjunction with standard LED bulbs for compatibility in CAN Bus systems. The plug-and-play LED load resistors easily install in line with your vehicle's factory bulb sockets and your LED bulbs. Price per kit (2 LED load resistors).

Mount the resistor away from painted surfaces, plastic, or other components that may be damaged by the heat generated by the resistor.

Very Straightforward

This resistor is much better than others I have used. It is prewired with the lamp fittings, all you do is plug and play. It must be mounted so it wont rattle around, and it needs to be isolated from plastic or rubber parts (it get hot and will melt plastic if screwqed to it) but a simple formed with pliers wire clothes hanger harness will get the job done.
Great product, fast and simple to install and everything works as it should (no canbus warnings on the dash of our Acura MDX)

Error code solution

I have purchased led headlights from another source claiming it was compatible with my 2005 Volvo S40. It seems that I received an error code and after numerous searches, found I needed something added to clear my low beam out error. I didn't want to cut wires and solder so I chose this product. I am astonished as to how simple this was to install. Vola, error code cancelled and now I can scroll through my other menus without the constant flashing of the error message negating me to reach my other menus. Good job. Seriously considering upgrading my other lights on my vehicle and using your products if they are completely compatible. Thanks again. 😀

Great! But you should know....

It works but You may need to purchase a second or third set of load reducers.....
I have a 94 Lincoln Mark 8 w/ on board dummy system. It has a 4 headlamp system. You need 1 pair each circuit regardless 2 or 4 headlamp.

I have also since installed the LED equivalent of 3157 turn signals in the car, 1 pair up front and 1 pair of stop tail turn signals. I had hyper flash syndrome for signaling turning. Used Flasher # EP34 at Oriely's about 13 dollars that fixed the hyperflash. It flashes a nice stock steady normal rate. But, It did not correct the warning message.
I will be purchasing another pair of load resistors. They need to be on the steady burning circuit of the running/tail lamps. Also I will get another set for the highbeams. That should do it. Very happy so far, its made a difference. Its trial and error sometime on an older car. Im happy with the brightness of the LEDs.

Thanks
