Important Notes concerning LED Flashers: These flashers do not replace all flasher units. Before you order, please see the pin outs of our flashers in the More Info page and compare with the one you are replacing. Click the part numbers for complete specifications. You can usually find your flasher pin out printed right on your flasher. Failure to check this and installation in an incompatible vehicle can blow your fuse, destroy the flasher and void the flasher warranty. Some of these flashers operate silently, they do not make the familiar clicking sound when operating. One solution is to connect a common automotive relay to the output along with your LED bulbs. |

Works for Toyota Tacoma
Installed on a 2004 Tacoma, plug and play, old one came out and this one went right in. The flasher itself is in a rather awkward spot requiring a little effort to replace but well worth it.
Why would you install load resistors if your vehicle can take a new flasher relay? I just don't get it. Operates exactly like stock, no one will ever know.
Well worth the money and effort (but not as much effort as resistors!)

'97 Toyota FZJ80 LED Blinker Solution
It works! The old relay didn't like the LEDs in place of the old bulbs, so it blinked extra fast thinking a bulb was burned out. Did some research on the Land Cruiser forums (Mud) that led me to this relay. I bought it, opened up the left kick panel and replaced the old one, and lo and behold! Blinkers work like a charm! The clicking from the new relay when using a blinker is quieter, too, which I kind of like.
Very nice! Would recommend!

LED Electronic Flasher for 90 Civic EF
Works just like they say. You can order either the Japan version or the European version of this flasher. Either way you'll need to adapt either because the flasher is too large to fit into the factory fuse box. You'll need three Male flat blade connectors and three fully insulated female blade connectors. Also 16awg wire. With these supplies you'll be able to make the necessary connections to have the flasher work. Don't worry about how long the wire lengths are, the longer the better. The longer length wire will allow the flasher to be secured and tucked out of the way.

Hello Sydney,
Thank you for the feedback. I have heard of an adaption being needed for the older Civic flashers. In most cases though, the flashers are plug and plug and will not require any additional items.

'98 Lexus ES300 is LIT!
Plugged it into the left underside of the dash, smaller than the OEM Denso relay. Recognizes front and rear LED bulbs and makes 'em flash.
Only issue is that when the turn is completed or the lever is cancelled, the relay will continue to click (LED off) 3 times, then my LED switches back to white. Used with 7440-A3W-G rear and 1157-AW60-SA front.
Overall: gets the job done!

Excellent! Highly recommended.
1967 Mopar application. It's common to have dim lights and dash due to low alternator output at idle and during deceleration to stop (which has almost got me rear-ended). Alternator is fine around 800-900 rpm in neutral or park. But in gear, idle drops to 600 and alternator is weak. Options include change to smaller alt pulley, or upgrade to a one wire newer model alternator. I opted to keep engine bay stock and tried the LED switch with EXCELLENT results. Much brighter tail lights at 600 rpm idle. Used red 45 LED model bulbs replacing 1157 incandescent.
I opted to go with this black flasher model CFGL-02 because it has a turn signal noise. Had to run a ground wire from it's ground pin because the Mopar harness is a 2 pin connector (12v and load) but this model has 3 pins (requires a ground). I simply grounded the open pin to under-dash chassis. It works great. Significantly brighter tail lights, including during brake and turn signal.

Works - minor glitch - On to the Bulb Out Relay
This is the replacement for German relays like Bosch - check your stock flasher for the pinout of the 3 connectors. The CF13GL-02 unit works ok, but when the turn signal arm is cancelled, the flasher continues to flash 1-1/2 times. Not a huge deal, but we'd like it designed correctly! This unit has a small relay inside, along with sensing electronics for LED's. I hope the smaller relay inside can handle the required load - I would have expected a solid state relay, since they've had to create a circuit board anyway. Next generation, perhaps?
Not mentioned in the flasher sales data is that the electronic flasher replacements don't do anything to stop your bulb failure relay from giving a false indication of lamp out. Instead of slapping ballast resistors on all the LED's, I recommend by-passing the bulb failure relay completely (takes some research). Some models might not allow it, but my large Bosch unit can be completely bypassed with only a few 3.5 mm pins and a few wires.

Electronic flashers are used to resolve hyper-flashing. Bulb out error messages require the use of CAN bus bulbs or load resistors.

Great idea - no more wiring in resistors
After wiring my two motorcycles with awkward resistors to enable LED turn signals, I was thrilled to find these when adapting my Porsche to LED bulb. Plug and play installation and quietly flash the signals at the correct speed - also work with the original bulbs, or a combination, i.e. regular bulbs on front turn signals and LEDs on the back as I haven't changed the front ones yet.

Eliminates Hyperflashing - Extra Clicking
Quick delivery. Excellent packaging. Works as advertised, eliminates the hyper flashing. Unfortunately, it does not work exactly like the factory flasher. Factory flasher will stop clicking when lights stop flashing. This one continues clicking 2 to 3 times after the lights stop flashing. Dissappointing and a bit annoying.
