Overview
LED replacement bulbs can fit vehicle tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals or side marker lights. This 1156 single-contact bulb has 28 high-power LEDs (0.5-watt SMD) that create a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with reduced hot spots. Tower-style design with a BA15S 15-mm bayonet base for easy plug-and-play installation—just twist to lock in place. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your car, truck, SUV, or van—25 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Available in cool white, natural white, amber, and red. Not sold in pairs. Price per bulb.

| Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. |  |

Craftsman GT6000 headlight upgrade
I recently purchased your 1156-WHP28-T Cool White to replace 1156 12v
25w bulbs that are used in a Craftsman GT6000 tractor. This size Garden Tractors uses an auto backup bulb for headlights. The 1156-WHP28-T Cool White is a direct fit replacement for the incandescent bulb. The LED appears considerably brighter.
Crazy Bright!
This lamp is longer than the stock bulb for my 1994 Integra's backup lights. The wiring harness has very little slack, but I was able to make it work by inserting the bulb into the housing a little, then locking it into the socket. I just bought my second lamp, which will overcome the Integra's somewhat small & dim backup lens issue. One lamp was a vast improvement, two will make it awesome!

Looks like a great bulb with solid build quality. The issue is length. 60mm is to long for the reflector in the housing. You need to use a shorter bulb. Trying a 56mm long bulb. Also 18mm width is probably the widest you want also. I was eager for 550 lumens. Trying a 400 lumen bulb the 1156-w16-TL. Should be interesting as it has a more forward directional pattern than the RHP28 so the lumen difference should be marginal. Also the w16 runs a brighter white K value at 7500K.
