Very bright LED Maplights in Ford F150 Limited
I received and installed these two LED bulbs in my 2013 Ford F150 Limited yesterday. I found an installation video on YouTube that was not specific to these bulbs but showed the best way to access, remove, and replace the factory bulbs. Install took less than 10 minutes and that was with me taking my time to make sure everything came out and went back in perfectly. These are very bright white LED bulbs. When I hit the unlock button on my transmitter lastnight the entire cab was flooded with lots of white light. If you need more light in your cabin or just prefer the look of the clean white light that LEDs provide I highly recommend these bulbs.
License plate bulbs for a Tahoe
I purchased 2 different bulbs to try out for this application: This bulb (WLED-WHP6), and the WLED-WHP5 (which is less expensive, and less bright). I did a few a-b tests with this bulb, the WLED-WHP5, and the stock (but 10 year old) 194. The WLED-WHP5 is close in brightness to the stock 194. This bulb (WLED-WHP6) actually lights up the license plate, and as a bonus is bright enough that I can see my hitch ball at night. That might be too bright for some people, but it works well for me. Following the truck at night, it isn't too bright. It is about the same as some of the new cars that have LED license plate lights. There is definitely a color difference between this and the stock 194, but that's to be expected, and I am happy with the cool white. I definitely recommend this bulb for this application.
