Overview
CAN Bus LED replacement bulbs can fit numerous vehicle applications such as trunk lights, hood lights, dome lights, map lights and footwell lights. This 194 bulb replaces a variety of traditional bulbs including 194, 168 and 912 bulbs. It has 5 LEDs (5050 SMD) that are radially mounted to create a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with reduced hot spots. Error-free LED bulbs are designed to communicate with your vehicle's CAN Bus computer system and prevent "bulb out" error messages. Short, tower-style design with miniature wedge base for easy plug-and-play installation. The energy-efficient bulb has 12V DC operation and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your car, truck, SUV, or van—25 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Available in cool, natural, and warm white, amber and red. Not sold in pairs. Price per bulb.

Specifications
Bulbs have Plus and Minus (like batteries) and will only work when polarity is correct. If bulb does not work when installed, turn it around in the socket.

| Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. |  |

Hit and miss
I have ordered four of these now and on the last one I received only the LED at the tip of the bulb worked reliably. If you wiggled the bulb around in the socket the other LEDs would light intermittently and sometimes work very dim. I tried this bulb on more than one vehicle and had the same result. You may want to pass on this bulb and get a different one with the same base. The "194 LED Bulb - 15 SMD LED Wedge Base Tower" bulbs worked great and I think they are a little brighter.

Not very satisfied
First thing is color. I got natural white figuring I would split the difference between warm and cool, but in my opinion, these error too far on the side of cool blue. Light output (luminosity) was reasonable - about the same as the incandescents they replaced. Upon installation, 1 out of the 3 I purchased started smoking! The other two and subsequent bulbs worked just fine in this socket, but the fact that one failed makes me worried about the other two. If you can find a suitable alternative to these bulbs I would recommend choosing the alternative.

As to the color they are listed at 4500K which has a very slight blue component. Something in the 4000K range would be more suited to the shade of white you were looking for. Not as bright as stock, but bright enough
I installed these in the third brake light on my '02 Infiniti QX4. They are not quite as bright as the stock bulbs, but I kept them. I wanted them to match my "45HP-LED 16mm Wedge Base 7443 Tower bulbs" that I installed in my tail lights. Now all of my brake lights are LEDs...I love the instant ON/OFF!
Great LED's with can-bus
At first I was worried that they would not work with my MB. I took my chances knowing that I could return them if they didn't work. Happy to say the worked great. Now parking lights look bright and clean vs. yellowish with original parking bulbs. My only concern moving forward is that there was no indentation on the base of the led. like the normal light bulb has.
Hope that they will not fall off the base; only time will tell. In the meantime kudos to superbright led's for such an amazing led.
I am a baby boomer so I am not great with technology, otherwise I would have posted a phto to show how great they look installed.
