Overview

Boat Reading Lamp
I bought a single one initially to test the quality of the product and within minutes of installing it on my liveaboard sailboat, I immediately ordered 6 more to put in all my reading light fixtures. They are significantly brighter than the incandescent bulbs they replace and the metal fixtures no longer are hot to the touch -- meaning that my battery drain just got reduced dramatically. The color of the light at 2700K is comparable to the warmth of the incandescents originally in the fixtures and that combined with the teak joinery puts a warm glow throughout the cabin. I highly recommend these to anybody that is insistent about maintaining the warm quality of incandescent bulbs with the LED benefits of more light and less power draw. This bulb does it all.
